Night Of The Leos 2023!

"Night Of The Leos 2023!"
Touching down at The Gem for the first time (since the Chaplin's era, natch) 228 Productions is pleased as punch to present an avalanche of Greater Phoenixville-area favorites banding together for our annual fundraising benefit show, Night Of The Leos!
This year's nonprofit recipient is homeless outreach group Better Days Ahead, and our lineup includes performances by local friends FROZEN SMOKE and ELISSA JANELLE VELVETEEN, new playlist favorite GEODE, and guest emcees THE BOOZE BROTHERS!
The Booze Brothers
Tonight only, THE BOOZE BROTHERS are Phoenixville's own rhythm & blues revue and guest emcees for any occasion. "SCI Phoenix" Jake and Elwood are on a mission... to entertain!
Elissa Janelle Velveteen
Known for her more boisterous and now-legendary runs with bands such as Molly Rhythm and Karma Bat (among many others) ELISSA JANELLE VELVETEEN returns for another emotive and powerful performance. Not for the weak of spine! (Fun fact: Elissa opened the very first 228 Productions show out of the party house, which occurred way back in 2009... at Chaplin's!)
GEODE
GEODE is an instrumental trio from Northampton. Their music is composed of heavy guitar riffs and ambient grooves meant to take you on a journey.
Frozen Smoke
FROZEN SMOKE is the prog-hip-hop trio of MCs Kryciss and Oversoul, fortified by the beats of producer Waterbrother, spittin' the classics and the latest from the new "Life Happens" EP!

BDA (Better Days Ahead) is a 501(c)(3) official IRS tax exempt grassroots non-profit group that distributes food, clothing, and survival gear directly to area houseless and at-risk individuals in Southeastern Pennsylvania. We are based in Phoenixville and cover Pottstown, Norristown, Spring City, Royersford and any other areas around here all the way down to Center City and Kensington in Philadelphia. Helping people is our passion and we are dedicated to treating all clients with the dignity and humanity they deserve." For more info & resources, visit https://bdaoutreach.org/!
