Dave Joyce
Darren Makins

Darren Makins is what some would consider a music industry journeyman. He is the former guitarist for Hard Rock bands Palaceburn, DIVISIONS, and Embrace Ruin (featuring Zach and Josh from HONOR), and currently Session Musician and Guitarist for Pop/Rock and Brooklyn-Based Former Sony Recording artist Krista. Raised in nearby Royersford, Pennsylvania and a product of living downriver from a Nuclear Power Plant, Darren began playing guitar at age 6, and began to take playing seriously around the age of 12, since then has accomplished a lot within the music industry, although he struggles listing his accomplishments without it sounding like bragging. His singing style can be described as a straightforward, no frills Rock n' Roll but with an acoustic, think of a bit edgier Rob Thomas with some Brett Scallions in thrown in the mix. His performance October 20, 2018 at Chaplin's in Spring City, Pa opening for HONOR will mark his first solo appearance in nearly a decade.
