Dear Season

Drawing influence from bands like The Wonder Years, The Hotelier, and Tiny Moving Parts, Dear Season blends a wide range of emo, post-hardcore, and math-rock inspiration into their sound. The band, formed out of West Chester PA in 2023, consists of Sean Slattery (vocals, guitar), Mario Delano (vocals, bass), Brian Foster (guitar, saxophone), and Nate Gittelman (drums). Since releasing their self-titled debut EP in September 2024, Dear Season has continued to play shows in Philly and the surrounding area, hoping to leave their mark on Philly emo scene.

Queasy

Queasy is a three piece band hailing from Philadelphia. Mike, Stevie, and Corinne have been riffing together since 2019, weaving together early emo, shoegaze, grunge, noise, and math rock influences. They can be found on Bandcamp, Spotify, and everywhere else music can be enjoyed.

Local Honeymoon

Local Honeymoon is a four-piece indie rock band based out of Philadelphia for fans of the Menzingers, the Wonder Years, and Motion City Soundtrack. Although their songs are influenced by punk and emo, their live shows embrace a tongue-in-cheek Jimmy Buffett aesthetic, where band and audience alike dress up in Hawaiian shirts to sing along to songs about heartbreak and the miserable state of the world.

Precious Little Life

Precious Little Life reads like an emo band – named after the first installment of Brian Lee O’Malley’s Scott Pilgrim series, a catalogue boasting a number of references to Nintendo games, bitcrushed screams, and twinkly riffs, one could be forgiven for classifying them as such. Precious Little Life, however, extends far beyond the borders of the genre, diving deep into unfathomably melodic noise pop. Fronted by Ivy Nenkov (they/she), the project has expanded beyond a bedroom-confined exercise in exploration to a fully-realized shape-shifting goliath of Philadelphia’s DIY underground.
