The band takes inspiration from the sounds of garage and surf, along with many of the primordial rock 'n' roll icons. Their debut self-titled album was released in April 2022, and provided the band with a platform to begin touring the east coast of the U.S. Love You to Death, their first single off the album, is a tale of desperate love. Oogie Boogie, the second single, provides the sonic backdrop to an autumnal haunted house party. The Blue has opened for bands such as: Kid Congo & The Pink Monkey Birds, Black Lips, Southern Culture on the Skids, Jon Spencer, Bloodshot Bill, Nekromantix, and Daikaiju.
