The podcast features local talent on every episode and the performers on this show are previous featured guests.

Confirmed artists * -

Saturday bands:

Stephanie Sky

Stephanie has been the lead singer of local rock bans Midheaven since 2007, guiding the project’s hard rock material with her trademark range and style. She is accompanied by Julie Exter of Sacred Monsters and Gun-Shy Butterfly. Steph and Julie have been making music together for more than thirty years.

Faint Halos

Born out of a restlessness to perform music during the pandemic, Faint Halos was a project started by Paul Hashemi. He began to perform the music in the Philadelphia area and attracted three other area musicians: versatile and lyrical bassist Miguel Padro; powerful drummer Bill Hallinan; and pyrotechnic guitarist Matt Cielka. The band’s passion and chemistry burns through in riveting life performance

Monstera

What if Hayley Williams was your therapist? That’s Monstera, an emo/indie band from Philadelphia. Their music centers around growth and mental health seeking to make their listeners find validation and safety through their music.

The Ditches

Bands form for different reasons. The Ditches formed out of a deep need to exorcise some demons through rock and sweat in a garage and bond as friends. The Ditches are Matthew VonDell, Tommy T, and Shawn Moyer with able assistance from Sam Pinola at New Sofa Studios.

Terminal

TERMINAL is the soundtrack to a world unbalanced, reeling and spinning out of control, running out of time. A barely stable alloy of industrial music and glam rock, with trace quantities of dark techno, synthpop and raw machine recordings, each TERMINAL anthem is a broadside against the atrocities of our lost humanity and its devastation of our planet.

Gun-Shy Butterfly

is a bubble grunge duo that melds sugary harmonies and urgent hooks with fuzzed-out guitars for a tough and tuneful sensibility evoking the 1990s alt-rock, grunge, and Riot Grrrl scenes, especially bands like Veruca Salt, L7, and Bleach-era Nirvana.
