This year The Mighty Manatees are celebrating their 40th Mana-versary. Every November they host a Neil Young birthday tribute show, and this year Neil is turning 80! Manatees bandleader Will Hodgson was born in Winnipeg where Neil lived for many of his early years and even went to the same school as Neil (Kelvin High).
Friday, Nov. 14, show at The Gem will be made up of 3 sets highlighting the acoustic, country, and rock 'n roll sides of Neil's words and music. Special guests include One Man Dog's Ray Adkins and Ted The Fiddler. Showtime is 7:30 - 11:00 PM.
