About the event
Wyatt Ellis
Born in the rich music bed of East Tennessee, Wyatt Ellis has quickly become one of the most-watched young musicians in bluegrass music. A devotee of Bill Monroe, Ellis has been mentored bymany iconic bluegrass musicians, including Bobby Osborne. Wyatt has studied with mandolinmasters, composed his own original instrumentals, and transitioned from playing alone in his livingroom to performing seamlessly alongside bluegrass legends and Hall of Famers.
During the pandemic, learning about bluegrass music became Wyatt’s preferred pastime. With noclose neighbors, and the music world suddenly at his fingertips, his passion for music grew. In a fewshort years, Ellis has mastered the mandolin and morphed into a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist.He has been invited to perform on stage with some of the most iconic musicians of this era such asPeter Rowan, and Marty Stuart. In 2024, Wyatt was named International Bluegrass MusicAssociation's Momentum Instrumentalist of the Year.

Wood Flower
Tight harmonies, driving banjo, and ripping twin guitar picking are a few of the things that define Wood Flower and their unique yet traditional approach to Bluegrass music. Formed in the spring of 2022, the band from Southeastern Pennsylvania mixes original songs, Bluegrass staples, and an occasional outside the box cover tune. Wood Flower's self-titled debut album was released in the fall of 2024. Band members are Michael Beaky banjo/vocals, Gabe Delp guitar/vocals, Wes Johnson guitar/vocals, & Josh Sceurman on bass.
